Low Voltage Landscape Lighting

Good landscape lighting makes a home look finished at night and makes walkways and steps safer to use.

Low voltage systems run at 12 volts from a transformer, so they are safe around the yard and efficient with LED fixtures. We lay out the fixtures, run the wire and set the system to turn on and off by itself.

Questions

Common questions

Is low voltage lighting safe?

Yes. It runs at 12 volts from a transformer that plugs into an outdoor outlet, which is why it is the standard for landscape lighting.

Can you fix my existing lights?

Yes. Most problems are a cut or corroded wire, a bad connection or a failed transformer, and they can usually be repaired.

Will the lights turn on by themselves?

Yes. We set the transformer with a timer or photocell so the lights come on at dusk.
